It’s hard to put into words how upset I was with this robot. I’ve seen robots on the TV, and they all seem capable of doing pretty incredible things (have you ever seen Bicentenial Man?!?). I was under the impression that a robot’s entire purpose is to improve the life of its owner. The worst thing that could happen is the robot would become self aware and unleash an attack upon humanity… but this robot is relatively small so the threat seems a little less. Needless to say, this particular robot did not help me clean the dishes, nor did it make me a pancake breakfast when I woke up late one Wednesday morning. The good news is that I’m not worried at all that my robot will turn against me, because he is incapable of even the simple task of taking out the trash. I guess the blame really falls to me for letting myself get so excited. I gave it a 5 for durability because in my frustration I unsuccessfully tried to destroy it by throwing it against the wall.

My sons wanted this robot so badly and I was so excited to see the bargain on Amazon. When I received the robot some of the things didn’t look quite right on it. The wheels appeared scuffed and the hands look marked but I thought I was just being too analytical of the product. I took the robot and was about to place batteries in it tonight for christmas when the first thing I saw was the huge amounts of glue on the top which made me nervous. As I slide the robot out, I saw all the back attachments were heavily glued as well to the package box and the parts of the package that were torn, were also taped heavily. Now, I firmly believe I received an already used toy that was shipped to me. The outside of the main box said it was shipped from Japan. I was fuming for awhile since the person who sent it didn’t even have the sense to hide the fact it’s been used and obviously given back and now its 1 day before christmas and I don’t have the toy either. I still would like to find the robot but I’m going to pay full price this time at toysrus or something just to make sure I don’t get sent another used product. I’m NOT a happy customer about this.

My husband expressed to me that when he was a kid. He had a robot and he love it and even named it but someone broke it the first day he got it and his parents didn’t replace it. So I surprised him with this robot. He was soooo surprised and happy. He loves it!. So I give it five stars. LOOOOOL.
